An Environment Designed For Success

In 1998, The owners of the Academy saw  a need for superior, trustworthy, baseball instruction in Pennsylvania. They decided to create a Baseball Academy. The concept was to create an environment, where, "a group of respected leaders, in the field of baseball, could develop programs, establish standards, prescribe methods, and examine new ideas."  The goal was to produce disciplined, talented, and respected student-athletes in Southeastern Pennsylvania through our instruction.  Today the All American Baseball Academy is recognized as one of the premier training facilities in the region.

 Finding Out What Works Best

For over thirty years, the owners and directors, through their vast experience as players, coaches, scouts and teachers, have studied and participated in almost every facet of the game. They've attended and conducted regional camps, showcases, clinics and seminars and on countless occasions, they have  been invited to speak to numerous highly respected groups and associations. Every program has been created, modified and refined to achieve its intended purpose. Our goal is for players to experience a physical and mental transformation, that will take them to the next level, not just in baseball, but in all phases of life. Our coaches have a passion for the game. Many have played professional baseball and most have college degrees and careers in education. Our members have "break through" experiences working with a highly qualified staff, trained to teach the skills of baseball.

Hard Work Can Be Fun If You Love What You Do

We are a year round operation and we use state of the art computers and digital video to diagnose and improve every skill. Our coaches have used video so extensively that their eyes are trained to see what the average eyes miss. We have been using proprietary software and computers utilized by the U.S. Olympic teams and MLB clubs for over twelve years. We are pioneers in computer video analysis and more importantly we know how to make adjustments to refine flaws. Learning is a process of discovery and watching it happen can be very rewarding.

We stress the importance of academic achievement, character, community service, sportsmanship and mentoring, as well as athletics. Our members define the meaning of "student athlete." Participants in our programs tend to become very efficient at time management. Any tendencies to procrastinate diminish because our members want to train with a clear mind instead of putting off  responsibilities until the last minute.

Simulate The Future and You Will be Ready For it

We have three Academy teams for our year round-members. One team is for 13 to 14 year old players, another team is for our 14 and 15 year old players and the other for 16 to 18 year old players. In the Fall, we run an aggressive schedule for our older squad, placing them in tournaments on college campuses. Our younger squad goes through a developmental program playing games versus older players, in an instructional setting. The combination of instruction, showcasing and networking has been a proven success. All of our teams benefit from working in an environment similar to a college training program. In fact, there is no doubt that these programs may be better than many college programs. We also run programs for non-academy members, who come highly recommended, by coaches, scouts and recruiters. Our new Elite Junior Academy Program gives 10 to 12 year old players a head start on our baseball development training model. We run many camps and clinics throughout the year for players ages 7 to 19. At times we also have programs for college players, team clinics and coaching clinics. In December, we run our annual Winter Showcase for high school juniors and seniors.

If you are a baseball player who has aspirations and long-range goals to play in an NCAA Division I, II or III college baseball program and/or possibly even beyond, then All American Baseball Academy is the right training facility for you. You don't have to be a member of our Academy to sign up for our camps, clinics or private instruction.

Did You Want Fries With That?

Examine our list of Alumni. The Academy is well represented at every level. We are very proud of the fact that we work with players at all skill levels and help them develop to their full potential. We are not an elitist organization. We don't track down the most talented players in the region, so that we can take credit for their success. We take an active part in making our players successful. The All American Baseball Academy is not a fast food franchise. We don't need to "supersize" our operation. In other words we don't need to have an All American Baseball Academy in every town. Diluting the quality of an organization, for profit, simply does not work. Do you want to be trained by professionals or high school students? When a player feels comfortable working with an instructor, they want to keep training with that instructor. Our staff doesn't have a large turn over, every six months. Our staff has endured and it is often expanded, by our professional alumni who return in the off-season and pre-season. Some of our coaches have been with us from the start. Every year, between 1700 and 2000 players come through Academy programs because of the quality of our instruction. We feel that we have made a positive contribution to all of them. Our network of college placement grows every day. Every player who goes through our program and moves to the college or professional level expands our resources for the next player. Each year. more and more of the players who trained at the Academy move up to the college and professional ranks. Do you have what it takes to become one of them?  Those Who Work Hardest Will Be Rewarded!

If you've read this far then pat yourself on the back because we live in an age that requires instant communication and gratification. Most people scan for the facts and try to extract the most salient points to digest and then form an opinion and move on. If someone else recommends us and you try us without taking the time to educate yourself as to what we are doing and how we do it then you will miss the value of what you receive. You are about to read about the results of the latest research regarding what it takes to be the best at virtually anything you pursue. Baseball players, just like most athletes, have a relatively small window of time to develop their skills to a high level. It goes by very quickly. If you waste your time on distractions you will never reach your full potential in time to land a scholarship or a professional contract.

Should I Market or Should I Park It?

What does that mean? Well in some cases you have a choice to either travel around on a team that goes to regional or national events, to play against other travel teams to either compete or showcase skills. The question as to what a young and talented player needs to do to distinguish himself from everyone else is an age old question. It's one that is often misunderstood. Parents have to ask yourself this: "Is my young and talented player ready to be distinguished?" As a 12 or 13 or even 14 year old player, is it that important that he be recognized at a national level? How will that affect him when he fails. All baseball players fail and they do it all the time. The latest research shows that your money would be better invested in serious training rather than the ambitious travel team experiences which have been put together to compete and impress at a level where scouts and recruiters don't have the time or resources to observe. You would be better off to "Park it" meaning stay involved with the deliberate practice regimen that is going to help you become great. Use every minute you have available to make yourself better rather than testing the waters to see if you are better. There will be a time for you to market your skills to the "school of your choice" as opposed to being recruited by a school just to play baseball. After baseball you will most likely need a career and college is where it starts.

For a partial listing of our numerous Academy Alumni, go to the "Alumni" page. You may know some of these fine student/athletes. These alumni have received very generous scholarships, grants, financial aid and professional contracts totaling millions of dollars through their college and professional careers. This number keeps growing exponentially every year.  The success of our alumni is a testament to the value of our Academy.

If you would like to visit our Academy and see first hand, how an organized, highly efficient teaching session is conducted, please call us to arrange a time to observe and even participate in one of our sessions. The Academy is one of a select few locations that use "Dartfish™" training software. We have the ability to record a players movements on a digital video camera, download it to a computer for a frame by frame analysis and then email the clip to the player at his email address so that he can view it with comments with his parents and friends. For an amazing example of this technology go to the "News" page and click on the Dartfish picture to see the software in action, combined with the 3DKZONE®.

College Recruiting is a Process You Can Master

For over 12 years the Academy has had an incredible success rate at placing high school players into college programs which offer them scholarships and grants to play baseball, while getting a great education. We teach the player and his family about the college recruitment process. It's not just about baseball talent. It's about academics, finances, choosing the size and location of a school and how to examine a college program to determine if it is a good match for the player. Parents have to work as hard as players. College recruiting is a process that can resemble a roller coaster ride. Once you understand how to master the recruiting process, you can take control and plot your own destiny. Our members do not need a recruiting guru. They don't need a person with "connections." They simply need to answer some important questions and create opportunities.
